Today I’m doing a brand spotlight on Maple Holistics. They reached out to me a little while ago to see if I would be interested in trying out a couple of their products. They were kind enough to send me their Argan Oil Shampoo and Dead Sea Mud Mask to test out.
Maple Holistics is an American based company that produces body, skin, and hair products made only with natural, high quality ingredients for reasonable prices.
Their Argan Oil shampoo blew me away. While I am definitely someone who tends to choose products based on packaging, I’ll admit the packaging of this shampoo didn’t do much for me. However, the results I saw while I was using this shampoo blew me away. My hair felt and stayed cleaner longer, and the vanilla and honey scent is really nice. I have a really dry scalp lately so I made the decision to only use sulphate free shampoos to help with this, so I was really pleased to see that this particular shampoo was sulphate free. It lathers quite nicely though, which is important to me because a lot of sulphate free shampoos don’t and it can be hard to tell if you’ve rinsed it all out. With argan, jojoba, almond, and avocado oils, as well as a ton of other good ingredients, this shampoo is so hydrating and has made my hair softer and shinier. At $12.97, it’s a bit more than the average drugstore shampoo, but not by a lot and it is much healthier for your hair. This is a product I will definitely be purchasing when I run out.
The Dead Sea Mud Mask initially is a bit runny. After stirring it up, I found it applied much better, so I would definitely recommend doing that. I really liked the jar that the mask came in. It sits nice on my bathroom shelf and because it’s not in a tube, I’ll be able to use every last bit of it. It also smells amazing and feels so nice on my skin. The lavender notes are so relaxing and it leaves my skin feeling really soft and feeling super clean. My only complaint with this mask is that it’s a bit messier to take off than some of my other masks. It takes a long time to rinse off in comparison to my others, so I tend to save this one for when I have a bit more time. Other than that, I got really good results with this mask and at $13.77 it’s a really great price!
Each product comes with a little card telling you the ingredients found in the product and why they’re good for you which I really liked.
