I’m a huge fan of the Clarisonic. I got my first one (the Mia 2) for Christmas years ago and was immediately hooked. Last year I upgraded to the Mia 3, which I reviewed HERE and most recently, I’ve introduced the SMART Profile Uplift* to my skincare regime.
This particular Clarisonic is a 2-in-1 cleansing and micro-firming face massage device that can be used for face and body. Inside the box you get:
- The 4 speed SMART Profile Device
- The Revitalizing Cleanse Brush Head (very gentle and great for all skin types)
- The Turbo Massage Body Brush Head (to deep clean and exfoliate your body)
- The Firming Massage Head (for your face, neck, and chest area)
- A mini gel cleanser
- A charger
The updated design is very sleek and comfortable to hold. The device has 4 speeds as well as a turbo mode and a body mode. It sounds pretty intimidating, but the device is actually quite easy to use. It’s so smart and knows which brush head is attached so it can perform accordingly.
I use the Revitalizing Cleanse Brush Head to wash my face each night with whatever cleanser I’m using at the moment, the same as I did with my Mia 3. I’ve also been using the Firming Massage Head every night afterwards with a facial oil or serum, which I have been really enjoying. It feels quite luxurious and it helps the serum or oil penetrate my skin deeper so I’m getting more benefits from the product. I spend 30 seconds on my chest, 30 seconds on each side of my neck/jawline, 30 seconds on each cheek, and 30 seconds on my forehead.
The Firming Massage Head is designed to firm and smooth your skin while targeting the 15 signs of aging. The 15 signs of aging include: facial firmness, facial sagging, lifted cheek appearance, cheek wrinkles, facial wrinkles, facial fine lines, forehead fine lines, cheek fine lines, lip area fine lines, facial radiance, facial smoothness, neck sagging, neck folds, neck smoothness, and decolletage radiance.
I just turned 25 so while my skin hasn’t really started showing signs of aging aside from some pesky forehead fine lines, your skin naturally starts to show signs of aging at 25 so this device came at the perfect time for me to help prevent further signs of aging.
As for the Turbo Massage Body Brush, I really like using it after a workout to help battle any body acne. I find I’m prone to body acne when I work out, which is never any fun. I like using this brush head on my shoulders, chest, and upper back and find it really helps.
The Clarisonic cleans your skin 6 times better than your hands and in my experience is totally worth the hefty price tag. It’s an investment for sure, but the device certainly lives up to all the hype it receives. This one in particular is like getting 3 products in one, which makes it a bit more justifiable.
