June has been a pretty busy month for me. It is finally feeling like summer and I’ve been enjoying spending as much time as I can outside.
Coming up with my favourites this month was tricky as there were a lot of products I have enjoyed. I have narrowed it down, so here are my top five:
First up is the Physician’s Formula Super BB #Instaready Filter BB Bronzer. I won this bronzer in a giveaway and have been using it nearly every day this month! It gives the skin a multidimensional glow that captures, diffuses, and softens the reflection of light on the skin for a perfect sunkissed glow. It blends really well and isn’t too dark for my fair skin. That being said, it could easily be built up for those with darker skin tones than me. The formula optimizes light reflection, blurs imperfections, and visually re-textures the skin. It looks so nice on the skin!
Next is the 3LAB Healthy Glow Lip Balm*. This tinted lip treatment provides intense hydration which is perfect for the hot weather we’ve been having here. It gives a sheer pink colour to the lips which is buildable if you’re looking for something with a bit more colour. It feels so buttery and luxurious on and has been a staple in my handbag this month. You can find out more about the balm on the 3LAB website HERE.
Next is The Body Shop Seaweed Oil-Balancing Toner. I love the toners from The Body Shop. I think they are very reasonably priced and are amazing quality. I was in need on a new one and opted to get this oil-balancing option as my skin gets oily this time of year. It smells so clean and leaves my skin feeling refreshed. It works well at helping me combat oil and agrees with my skin really well.
My friend Cera brought me back the Batiste Beautiful Brunette Dry Shampoo from her trip to England (though you can get it in North America, don’t worry). It blends into my hair way better than the regular dry shampoos as it has a brown tint to it. It smells clean and is perfect when my hair needs a bit of a refresh. If you’re a brunette, I definitely recommend giving this one a try!
Last but not least is the Sephora Collection Quick Fix: Hair Ties*. I have them in ‘At First Blush’ and ‘Minimal Maven’. These are without a doubt my favourite hair ties. I have had numerous packs over the years and always go back to them. They’re so cute and actually hold up my thick hair. The ribbon design doesn’t give you ponytail bumps, which is a main selling feature for me. These are available in Sephora stores or online HERE.
What have you been enjoying this month?
