Summer is in full swing now which means so is my frizz. It is so frustrating to deal with so I’m always on the hunt for products that help manage frizz.
I’ve been recently testing out the Tame Frizz collection* from KMS Hair to try and help keep my flyaways under control this season. I’ve been using the shampoo, conditioner, and mask for a bit now so I thought I would share with you my results!
My initial reaction was about how cute the packaging was (shocking, I know). The packaging looks so sleek and I love how nice the bottles feel. I then noticed the scent, which wasn’t my favourite. It reminds me of something, though I can’t think of what. I really don’t care for it while I’m using the products, but the scent doesn’t last long on my hair so at least I’m not stuck smelling it all throughout the day.
The shampoo does a great job of keeping my hair clean, which I appreciate. I don’t like to wash my hair everyday and I haven’t really had to use dry shampoo the way I do with other shampoos, so that’s definitely a bonus! As for the conditioner, I like that you only have to leave it in for 2 minutes. It’s especially nice when I’m in a hurry and it helps to detangle my hair.
The Smoothing Reconstructor mask was definitely my favourite of the three, though. I found on the days when I only used the shampoo/conditioner my hair didn’t really look or feel any different in terms of frizz, however when I used the mask I noticed a difference. The mask only gets left on 3-5 minutes, so again it’s great when I’m short on time. It makes my hair insanely soft and provides intense hydration without weighing my hair down. My hair is sleeker after using this and I have minimal frizz.
My hair is quite thick so I’m not sure if that’s why I didn’t see dramatic results when I only used the shampoo/conditioner or not. They weren’t bad by any means, I would just recommend the mask if you’re only looking to purchase one product to help with frizz.
Have you tried KMS hair care before?
