I am obsessed with face masks. They are such a nice way to pamper yourself at home and are my favourite skincare product. There are so many on the market though, so I thought I would share with you my current favourites for different skin concerns:
The multi-tasker: REN Glycol Lactic Radiance Renew Mask*
This mask works extremely well at improving texture, brightening, and minimizing the appearance of pores. It removes dead skin cells to combat congestion, blackheads, and blemishes. The mask gets left on for 10 minutes and gets wiped off with the included cloth before rinsing off with warm water. It tingles a bit while it’s on, but isn’t too intense, though not recommended for sensitive skin. The mask smells so good and targets a wide range of common skin concerns making it a nice option to have.
The one for acne: Origins Out of Trouble 10 Minute Mask to Rescue Problem Skin*
This mask works to soak up excess oils and remove dead skin cells that lead to breakouts. It helps banish current blemishes and prevent future breakouts. The mask also helps improve texture, so my skin always feels really soft after using it. This mask tingles when it’s on like the REN mask, but it isn’t too intense either. It gets left on for 10 minutes and the creamy texture leaves my skin feeling nourished and not at all stripped.
The one for thirsty skin: Vichy Quenching Mineral Mask*
This mask contains thermal water so it is insanely hydrating. It feels so refreshing and soothing on the skin and the gel texture has a cooling effect that is soothing. The formula contains green tea, bamboo, and jasmine water, which smells amazing! This mask only gets left on for 5 minutes, so it’s a great option if you’re in hurry.
The one for dull skin: Delia Organics Berry Buffing Masque*
This mask doubles as an exfoliator so you’re truly left with radiant looking skin once you rinse this one away. It tingles while it’s on, but I like it because it really feels like it’s working. It gets left on for 15-30 minutes and is the best smelling mask I’ve ever tried! I love how soft and glowy my skin looks after using this mask even just once.
What is your favourite mask?
