I have been all about the gel liner lately. As a liquid liner lover, I never used gel liner before because it seemed like such a pain to apply, but it’s actually quite easy and I find it has incredible staying power.
I’ve just been using the Essence Gel Liner as I didn’t want to invest in an expensive one since I wasn’t sure if I would even like it. I am so impressed with this formula though and don’t see the need to spend more on an expensive gel liner.
I think when it comes to applying gel liner, the brush is actually more important than the liner itself. Born Pretty was kind enough to send me one of their eyeliner brushes, the Megaga E9-17, and I have been using it to apply my gel liner each day since receiving it.
I find it is so easy to create a precise, thin line using this brush, but you could easily make a thicker line if that’s more your style. This brush is great for those on a budget, but is quite soft compared to a lot of inexpensive brushes.
The red handle looks so sleek and I love how long it is. I find it very easy to use too. There are other brushes in this range and I would definitely recommend giving them a try if you’re looking for a good brush at a more affordable price.
Born Pretty has kindly sent me a coupon code for my readers. If you use the code EHSH10, you will save 10% off any regular priced items on their website.
