I’ve really taken an interest in self -tanners this spring. While I’ve used them in the past I have been feeling a bit more experimental when it comes to trying them lately and have discovered a couple of gems from Bondi Sands.
The Australian owned company has a wide range of products all of which are made in Australia as well. The brand was inspired by Australia’s most well known beach and the products are designed to give the skin a natural looking tan. The packaging is really cute and all of the products are very reasonably priced for the quality.
I’ve been using three of their products lately and thought I’d talk you through them:
Self Tanning Foam in ‘Light/Medium’*
The formula of this foam contains aloe vera and coconut, so it smells amazing! It’s very lightweight on the skin and comes in a darker option too for darker complexions or those looking for a deeper tan. It dries pretty quick and gets left on for 1-6 hours depending on how deep you want your tan to be. The end result is a healthy glow that looks natural.
Everyday Gradual Tanning Milk*
The formula of this milk is enriched with aloe vera, Vitamin E, and cocoa butter scent. It smells nice and as the name would suggest, it’s designed for everyday use. The moisturizer hydrates and nourishes the skin, which is what my skin desperately needs right now. It takes a reasonable amount of time to dry (approximately 15 minutes) and it’s important to wash your hands after applying the tanning milk. Results appear in just 1-3 applications which is really good for a gradual tanner. This product is perfect for beginners or those looking for a more low-maintenance way to tan.
Self Tanning Mitt*
This mitt helps ensure a streak-free application when used with a self-tanner. It prevents stained hands too, which is key. The mitt works best with foams, lotions, and mists. It’s also washable and reusable so it’s a great value for your money.
All in all I’m super impressed with Bondi Sands and can’t wait to try more from them.
