Autumn is my favourite season for a variety of different reasons. One of my favourite parts is switching up my makeup for deeper hues. Bold lips are one of my favourite makeup looks and fall is the perfect time of year to sport them! Today I thought I would share with you the lipsticks I will be reaching for the most this fall:
Estée Lauder Color Envy in ‘Decisive Poppy’*
This is my ideal shade of red. I love how deep it is with a slightly blue undertone. It makes my teeth look whiter and really compliments my skin tone. The packaging is super luxurious and it applies nicely. The formula is very pigmented and long lasting too, which is great.
I love this satin finish lipstick from MAC! It is a gorgeous berry tone that still has a vibrancy to it, making it the perfect lipstick for transitioning from summer to autumn. It is long wearing as well, which is a bonus.
This matte finish is comfortable to wear and is such a gorgeous, deep hue. Paired with a gold eye, this lipstick is my go-to for a girls’ night out.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in ‘Pure Hollywood’
While I love darker tones, I still like sporting a nude lip when the weather gets cooler and this is my all-time favourite shade. I’ve done a full review of this one HERE, but couldn’t leave it out of this round-up. The pale, mauve shade is so pretty and I find the formula to be not as drying as some other liquid lipsticks on the market. It is long lasting and fades evenly, which I really appreciate. This one is a go-to of mine when I want to wear a smoky eye.
Estée Edit Mattified Lipstick in ‘Marooned’*
This merlot red is full coverage yet still comfortable to wear. The packaging is really nice and the formula contains 20% conditioning oils to soothe your lips. When the weather changes my lips can often get chapped, so I’m looking forward to seeing how well this formula works for me.
Bésame Classic Color Lipstick in ‘Merlot’*
This brick red shade is really nice with my fair skin tone. The angled edges make application really easy too. You line your lips with the angled edges and then fill them in with the flat side. The formula is really comfortable and it gives the lips a satin matte finish. The packaging is stunning and the entire line is inspired by vintage makeup, which I think is really cool.
What are some of your go-to lipsticks for fall?
