I think monthly beauty subscription boxes are such a fun idea! They’re such a unique way to treat yourself (or a friend) and a cool way to try out new products.
With so many on the market it can be hard to decide which one to get. I got the March 2017 Beauty Box 5, or BB5* for short, in the mail and thought I would tell you guys about it!
The box itself is quite affordable at $12 offering free shipping in the US and only $3 for Canadians. The team at BB5 focus mainly on indie brands which I thought was really cool!
Each month you get 5 products that range from full sized to deluxe sample sizes. The box is definitely a fun, affordable way to try out new brands and products.
The March box definitely disappoint! I found the products to compliment each other while still offering a good variety of items. I thought for today’s post I would talk you through what I got inside:
Prestige Cosmetics True Metals Eye Shadow in ‘Gilded’
This eye shadow is a really pretty, rustic gold shade. It’s very shimmery with minimal fallout and can easily be used wet or dry. You get a lot of product and the shade would suit all skin tones well.
Bellapierre Cosmetics Cosmetic Glitter in ‘Spectra’
I was really excited when I saw this as the glitter is very eye-catching. It is a loose glitter that can be used on eyes, skin, hair, lips, etc. It is designed to be used alone or with a mixing medium. I want to try adding a little of this to my hair for a night out but so far have just used it on my eyes with a bit of MAC Fix+. It’s really pretty and easy to use.
Manna Kadar Lash Primer
I’ve done a few posts on lash primer recently, and you’ll see that I’m a huge fan so I was really excited to give this one a try as I haven’t tried anything Manna Kadar before. The primer works to lengthen and thicken lashes while helping to prevent flaking. I love the fluffy brush and the fact that the formula is clear. I was pretty impressed with this one!
Sweep Lash Helper
I think I was most excited about this product as I struggle to apply false lashes and usually rely on my sister’s help. This tool is designed to perfectly place lashes and is super easy to use. I love the long handle and the tool really allows me to get in there in a way my fingers can’t. If you’re new to applying lashes – I can’t recommend this enough!
Sweep Lashes in ‘Elisa’
You get 5 pairs of lashes in the box which is such an incredible deal! They are natural looking on so you can wear them on a daily basis but they still look pretty with more dramatic makeup looks as well.
Have you subscribed to Beauty Box 5? If not, I recommend checking out their website if you’re looking for a fun monthly subscription box!
This post contains product that was sent to me for consideration. This in no way influences my opinion.
