I love experimenting with drugstore products. I feel like they’ve really improved as a whole in the past couple years and love discovering new gems that don’t break the bank.
For today’s post I thought it would be fun to share the things I have been enjoying lately that are on the affordable side:
Covergirl Trunaked Nudes Palette
This palette really exceeded my expectations! The shades are all perfect for every day wear and I was pleasantly surprised with how pigmented they were. The palette is a great mix of mattes and shimmers too.
Essence Pure Nude Highlighter in ‘Be My Highlight’*
This highlighter comes with so much product so you really get a lot of bang for your buck! The formula is so buttery and blends beautifully on the skin. I thought this might be a bit dark against my fair skin, but it actually gives my skin a really pretty glow!
Essence Ultra Long Lasting Eye Liner Pen
I love Essence eye liner pens in general and this one was no exception. It is very pigmented and easy to apply. It also doesn’t fade throughout the day like I find a lot of drugstore liquid liners do.
RCMA No-Color Powder
This powder is amazing! I did a whole review on it a little while ago (HERE) and am still so impressed with it. The powder does an amazing job of setting my makeup! While it’s not available in the drugstore, you still get so much product for such an affordable price!
NYX Born To Glow Liquid Illuminator in ‘Sunbeam’*
This liquid highlight gives the skin a really pretty pinky-pearl glow. I find this also looks really good mixed in with foundation for a subtle all over glow!
Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer
This bronzer is so perfect for summer! The packaging is super cute and the bronzer smells like coconut. Despite being a scented product, this bronzer doesn’t break out my skin, which is incredible! It doesn’t have any orange undertones and gives a really natural warmth to the skin.
L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation
This foundation is my favourite from the drugstore right now! The shade range is great and I love the glowy finish it gives my skin. It’s quite long lasting and comfortable to wear.
Essence 2-in-1 Eye Shadow Primer in ‘Nude Rosé’*
This little pot is an incredible deal! You can use the creamy formula as an eye shadow or as an eyelid primer. I find this particular shade to be brightening and really helps make my eyes pop!
