As a blogger I try a lot of different beauty products. This is one of my favourite things about blogging as I often find new products that I love. For today’s post I thought I would share with you some of my new beauty discoveries that I have recently become obsessed with:
Origins Modern Friction Cleansing Oil*
This oil is infused with white and purple rice to help boost the skin’s radiance. I really like how gentle it feels on my skin but the cleansing oil still does a great job of melting away makeup, dirt, and impurities. It feels quite luxurious and becomes more of a creamy milky texture when mixed with water. It is suitable for all skin types too, making this a skincare product everyone can enjoy. It also comes in a beautiful bottle that looks really pretty sitting out on my bathroom counter!
REN Limited Edition Moroccan Rose Otto Body Wash*
This limited edition body wash was made in collaboration with London florist McQueens. It is formulated with Moroccan Rose Otto Oil, which is one of the world’s most expensive and revered essential oils. It feels so nice on the skin and the rose scent is fragrant without being too overpowering. The packaging is beautiful and I really like that the bottle has a pump. It is suitable for all skin types and leaves my skin feeling clean and soft.
Maybelline Master Blush Colour & Highlighting Kit*
This may arguably be the product I am most excited about in this roundup. Blush is my favourite makeup product, and this palette truly is gorgeous. Inside you get 3 blushes and 1 highlighting shade, all of which are really pretty and would suit all skin tones. They look nice on their own, but they also look nice mixed together to create your own unique look too. The pigmentation of the powders is really great and I love how long lasting they are on the skin. The shades included in this palette will look good all year round too, so it’s definitely a nice set to have on hand.
The Body Shop Vitamin E Aqua Boost Essence Lotion*
I really like the Vitamin E range from The Body Shop, so I was really excited to give this essence lotion a try. I have been using it after cleansing and toning my skin right before applying serum. The lotion offers up to 48 hours of hydration and is very lightweight on the skin. It absorbs quickly so it doesn’t leave your skin feeling greasy either. A little goes a long way this one too, 4-6 drops does my whole face, so this bottle will last me a long time.
Graydon Face Glow*
This primer is infused with mineral mica which gives the skin a slight shimmer. It works to blur imperfections and even skin tone, two of my main concerns lately. I’m all about a glowy finish to my skin these days and this primer does an excellent job of that. It’s lightweight too and sits perfectly under my makeup.
Kiehl’s Cactus Flower & Tibetan Ginseng Hydrating Mist
I have been wanting to try this for the past year and finally caved and got it. I’m so happy I did though, because this stuff is incredible! The mist is super refreshing on the skin and smells really nice. It is formulated with cactus flower and Tibetan Ginseng as the name would suggest but it is also infused with lavender, geranium, and rosemary essential oils. It’s very hydrating and I think it’s going to be a nice facial mist to have for the warmer weather ahead.
Origins Clear Improvement Charcoal Body Wash*
I suffer from body acne when I work out, which is such a pain, but this body wash helps tremendously. It has a minty scent which is invigorating, especially after a workout. It leaves my skin feeling cool and refreshed. I thought because of the charcoal it might be messy, but it isn’t at all and really helps clear up any body acne and impurities. I love how soft and smooth this body wash makes my skin feel.
NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer
This concealer offers full coverage while being extremely lightweight. I was surprised by how light the texture felt on my skin yet it still does a great job of hiding any dark circles, redness, or acne I have. The formula has a light diffusing effect that blurs and smooths. It’s not at all cakey nor does it settle into pores or fine lines. It blends really well and has a natural looking matte finish. I have been so impressed with this concealer!
