I’m a sucker when it comes to eye shadow palettes. Most recently, the Tarteist PRO Amazonian Clay Palette * has become part of my collection and I am obsessed with it! Aside from their giant holiday palette last year and an eye shadow quad, I haven’t used a lot of Tarte eye shadows. I loved both palettes I have used in the past, but this one is definitely my new favourite!
The sleek black packaging is gorgeous and it comes with a large mirror. Inside you get 20 gorgeous shadows that are a nice mix of mattes and shimmers. The quality of all the shadows is really great. They are very pigmented, buttery, and blend well together. I love the variety of shades you get with this palette too. They mostly consist of quite wearable shades but there a few fun ones thrown in there too.
The first row includes: ‘Classic’ (cream), ‘Innocent’ (soft peach), ‘Whimsy’ (brick), and ‘Smoked’ (dark brown). The second row is made up of: ‘Vintage’ (ivory), ‘Fierce’ (cool toned plum), ‘No Filter’ (purple mauve), and ‘Vamp’ (deep plum).
The third row includes: ‘Chic’ (pale pink), ‘Profesh’ (taupe), ‘Mod’ (deep cherry), and ‘Drama’ (maroon). The fourth row is made up of: ‘Indie’ (light greige), ‘Bold’ (light brown), ‘Edgy’ (chocolate), and ‘Punk’ (black).
On the far right hand side of the palette is a column of shimmer shades: ‘Ethereal’ (bronze), ‘Glam’ (champagne), Minx’ (mauve), and ‘Trendy’ (prismatic teal).
You can create a lot of different looks with this palette, which I always love when it comes to getting a new palette. A lot of the shades in this palette are different than what I already have in my collection so it’s nice to be able to mix things up.
Have you tried the Tarteist PRO Amazonian Clay Palette yet?
