I am so obsessed with Vichy skincare lately. They have been really killing it with their recent launches and have definitely worked their way up to be one of my favourite skincare brands.
Most recently, I have been testing out some new products from their Idéalia range*, all of which have been lovely.
The Idéalia skincare line is targeted at women in their 30s, however I don’t feel like any of the products are too intense for my 24 year old skin. If anything I’m looking to do some preventative maintenance at this stage in the game to really delay any signs of aging and I think these products are the perfect way to do that as they are effective but still feel gentle.
The line works to correct early signs of aging, improve radiance, and minimize pores. The packaging is so luxurious and the blueberry scent is to die for!
Today I thought I’d talk you through 5 of the products I have been testing:
The Night Peeling treatment contains glycolic acid to really boost the skin’s radiance. It is super gentle for a peel but is still effective. The peel is actually gentle enough to use daily, though I find I prefer using it 4-5 times per week. It’s even suitable for sensitive skin and never makes my skin red or irritated.
The Serum is rich in antioxidants and gives my skin such an incredible glow. It works to refine pores and smooth fine lines. I also find it helps even out my skin tone.
The Gel Cream is best suited for oily-combination skin so it’s the one I have been using the least since my skin is more on the dry side. My mom who has oilier skin has really liked it though and noticed she didn’t have to blot as much when using it. The cream is lightweight and works to mattify the skin while reducing the appearance of pores and fine lines.
The Day Care for Dry Skin moisturizer of course is my favourite. It’s very rich and comforting on the skin. It sits well under makeup despite being so rich and gives my skin a nice glow.
Lastly, the Day Care for Normal-Combination Skin moisturizer is one I like for days when I’m not as dry. It still gives a nice glow to my skin and sits well under makeup the same way as the other, but isn’t quite so rich.
All in all I’m really impressed with this range and would definitely recommend it to anyone in their mid-twenties to thirties, and even forties as my mom has been enjoying the line as well.
Have you tried anything from the Idéalia range?
