New face masks always excite me, so I was pretty excited when Cera got me a gift set with three of The Body Shop Superfood Masks for Christmas. I’ve read so many rave reviews on these masks and The Body Shop makes some of my favourite skincare products so these masks immediately went on my wish list.
The set I got contains three popular Superfood masks: Purifying Himalayan Charcoal Glow Mask, Hydrating British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask, and Nourishing Ethiopian Honey Mask. There are five masks in this range however these were the three I was most excited about so it worked out really well that they were all included in this set.
The Purifying Himalayan Charcoal Glow Mask was my favourite in the set. It gave my skin a healthy looking glow while releasing toxins and impurities from my skin, which was a must-have after the holidays were over! The formula contains bamboo charcoal, exfoliating green tea leaves, and tea tree oil. The texture and end result reminded me of the GLAMGLOW masks but for a fraction of the cost. My pores looked smaller after using this one too, so that was an added bonus. If your skin is in need of a detox, this mask is a really incredible option.
The Hydrating British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask smells incredible! It contains rose petals, rose essence, rosehip oil, and aloe vera. The mask is designed to moisturize, soothe, and tone skin; and it did all of those things for me! My skin can get dry this time of year and this really helped replenish my skin and keep it feeling hydrated for days.
The Nourishing Ethiopian Honey Mask made my skin incredibly soft. The formula contains pure honey, marula oil, and olive oil. The mask is super nourishing as the name would suggest and felt so luxurious on the skin. I can’t get over how smooth my skin felt and looked after using this mask.
All of the masks in this range are vegetarian (some are vegan) and have such nice packaging. I’m so thankful Cera got me this set for Christmas as it was a really great way to try out a few different masks! The only problem with this set is that I now want to go and buy all of the masks in the full sized tubs!
Have you tried any of The Body Shop’s Superfood Masks?
