January is typically my least favourite month of the year. The weather is dreary and the excitement of the holidays is behind us. I find I stay in a lot due to the weather and the fact that I spent a lot over Christmas, so I’m happy to see it come to an end. Not that February is a whole lot better, but we’re that much closer to summer. I’ve noticed the days are getting longer, which makes me incredibly happy. I still go home in the dark, but it’s a nice reminder that spring is on its way.
Today I thought I would share with you my favourite things from the past month:
My Victoria’s Secret Pjs. As I mentioned, I am quite the homebody in January, so I have been wearing these quite a bit. They’re so soft and cozy, perfect for lounging around.
Leave Your Mark by Aliza Licht. This book was written by the SVP of global communications at DKNY. It is full of smart career advice with a focus on social media. I really enjoyed reading this book and it had some really great information in it.
Revlon Photoready palette in the shade ‘Metropolitan’. I picked this palette up on sale and really love it! All of the colours are so pretty that’ve been wearing this palette quite a bit. The gold sparkly shade has a ton of fall out when applying it, but aside from that the quality of the other shadows are all really nice.
Adult Colouring Book. I’ve toyed with the idea of getting an adult colouring book for a while now, but I’m really glad I did. It’s such a nice way to clear my head or relax before bed.
Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask. I wrote up a full review of this mask already, but I wanted to mention it again. I’ve used it quite a bit this month and have really enjoyed using it.
What have you been enjoying this month?
